Beach Hut Charm is registered with the Birmingham Assay for Hallmarking.  Hallmarking is designed to protect customers by verifying that a precious metal is in a pure form and not mixed with other substances. Hallmarking can not be done by the manufacturer or importer, it must be submitted to one of the four UK assay offices for independent verification.

 

The Hallmarking Act 1973 applies to everything sold in the UK, exemptions are made when items are below the the specified weight thresholds, 1 gram for gold, 7.78 grams for silver and 0.5 grams for platinum.
