What is the best age to take a print?
Hand/foot and paw prints can be taken from birth.
With fingerprints its best to wait until after a baby is 6 months old if you want some definition to the fingerprint (by definition we mean all the little lines). However some customers do like to have fingerprints done under this age, these fingerprints still work really well, they are tiny and look more like a squidge in silver with some definition. Personally at Beach Hut Charm we love new born prints, but it is all down to customer preference.
It is worth mentioning that we are all made differently, some of us have a more defined fingerprint than others, generally your fingerprint will become more defined the older you become – it’s what makes us all so unique!
Is there an age limit?
No! All the prints can be taken up to any age. At Beach Hut Charm we often print teenagers, couples, parents and grandparents to create special keepsakes for our customers.
